Maxwell Builders New Hires

 


Maxwell Builders rebuilt its estimating department with the hiring of three individuals.

The firm’s estimating team comprises Joni Benvenuti, senior estimator; Chris Jones, estimator; and Lindsey Dietz, estimating coordinator.  In their roles as estimators, Benvenuti and Jones take projects from conceptual estimating and budgeting stages to competitive bidding stages, with a strong focus on both new construction and major renovation projects.  Dietz’s responsibilities include plan distribution and bid solicitation, as well as coordinating marketing and social media efforts for the company.

Benvenuti has over three decades of construction experience in the Colorado marketplace that includes estimating, purchasing, building customer relationships and consulting.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration and management for the University of Phoenix.

Jones, with nearly 15 years’ construction estimating experience, previously worked in estimating roles that included site work and structural-side experience with other large general contractors in Louisiana and Texas.  Jones graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.  He’s also a graduate of Dallas’ Construction Education Foundation, with a focus on planning and scheduling, as well as contract documents and construction law.

Dietz has over a decade of experience in customer service, office management, and marketing coordination.  She attended Metropolitan State University of Denver with a focus on general studies.

Additionally, Eric Kaufman, LEED AP, joined the firm as a project manager for its Denver office.  Kaufman has 18 years of construction industry experience, including 13 years as a project manager.  In this role, he manages multiple construction projects and his responsibilities include leading owner and subcontractor progress meetings, forecasting budget projections, developing constrcution schedules and managing the overall customer experience for all project stakeholders.

Marla Goodman joined as a project coordinator for the firm’s Denver office.  Goodman has nearly 11 years of construction industry experience.  Goodman previously worked as a construction administrative assistant at Safeway Inc.  In her role as a project coordinator, her responsibilities will include assisting with change orders and procurement, processing submittals and other construction project documentation, as well as providing administrative support to project managers.
